Presenting a very unique and special custom Blythe Doll named “Winters Past” who was originally " Joana Gentiana" and has lovingly been hand sculpted and designed by myself
A true Ooak as i will never be repeating this girl!
I loved creating this girl! She has taken just over 4 weeks to complete, but has been in my imagination a lot longer.I had great joy in bringing her to life.
She reminds me of Winters in a bygone era, which I would have loved to have experienced, even if it was for just one day. At night, she has been designed to glow and glisten just as I imagined the snow would way back then!

The little snowmen in the head scene are hand sculpted and measure about 1cm tall. The scene portrays a beautiful frosty day with glistening snow and fir trees, complete with three perfectly formed snowmen with carrot noses, coal eyes and buttons. At night time, the light really shows the glistening snow effect. I hope you can see this from the pictures, as it’s very hard to capture with a camera!
I have had to do away with the eye mech, so I have replaced the original eyes with stunning handblown glass ones; I have created eyelids too.
The lighting system runs on a 9 volt square battery, hidden inside her little bag. Sadly, due to postal regulations, I can't ship her with the battery, so you will need to purchase the battery separately in your own area. xx
Her on / off switch is placed at the back of the head. (Please see photos.)
The hair has been completely hand sculpted and textured to reveal a highly detailed winter scene of Carol singers, gathered around a street lamp, along with their trusted dog who is howling along!
Please note as the hair is hand sculpted onto the Blythe it can not be removed, I have covered the hair in a very fine glitter so it sparkles and glistens in the light, please note: due to the nature of the glitter, it will may leave your hands glittery!
Her face has been sculpted and gently sanded to matt it down, then airbrushed with acrylic paint and coloured with pastels. She has then been sealed with several coats of MSD.
She is on her original body and it cannot be changed!
She comes complete with her handmade stand which ties neatly around her waist to secure her into place.
This piece has been designed to be displayed and is certainly not a toy and is a One Of A Kind collectors piece.
Every sale is final and non-returnable, but I would never send something that I was not happy with myself. She will be sent fully trackable, insured and signed for, for maximum piece of mind! This listing is for the Blythe doll only; please ask if you have any questions!
